Diagnostic Tests We Are Using or Planning to Use
This is a tentative list of the assessment tests we will be using this year.
I like Mindsprinting for math assessment.
I really like the Amazing Incredible Handwriting Worksheet Maker alphabet and phonics test. I also LOVE the lessons that come after the test.
If you are needing official standardized tests Seton Testing Services has the California Achievement Tests at a reasonable price. We have used this to decide if a child is ready for public high school.
I am planning to use the Lifepac Language Arts tests.
Once we have finished the diagnostic/placement tests, I will use this Typical Course of Study as a guideline .
I will check off any skills they have already mastered and then focus on filling in any gaps before moving on to work on more advanced skills.
